IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and A2Z. By downloading, installing, or using the A2Z_RVT_C# Extension or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

- Represent you have the authority to enter into this agreement (personally or on behalf of your organisation)

3. License Grant
3.1 Limited License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and install the Extension on authorised devices
- Use the Extension in accordance with your Subscription plan
- Access updates and support as included in your plan
3.2 License Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Reverse Engineer: Decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Extension
- Redistribute: Share, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Extension
- Remove Notices: Remove or modify copyright notices, trademarks, or proprietary markings
- Circumvent Protections: Bypass or disable license validation, security features, or usage restrictions
- Exceed Scope: Use the Extension beyond the scope of your Subscription plan
- Compete: Use the Extension to develop competing products
- Illegal Use: Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose
- Multiple Devices: Install on more devices than permitted by your license
3.3 Ownership
We retain all right, title, and interest in the Extension, including all intellectual property rights. This license does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
4. Data Collection and Privacy
Important: By using our Services, you acknowledge and consent to our collection and processing of certain data as necessary to operate the Extension and manage your license.

By accepting these Terms and using the Extension, you acknowledge that data collection is necessary for contract performance, consent to automated data collection during Extension use, and agree that we may store this data for the duration of your account plus retention periods outlined in our Privacy Policy.

5. Account Registration and Security
5.1 Account Creation
To use the Extension, you must create an account with accurate, current, and complete information, maintain and update your account information, provide a valid email address, and comply with our account security requirements.
5.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activities that occur under your account, notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access, and using strong passwords and following security best practices.
5.3 One Account Per User
Each user must maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or gain unauthorised benefits is prohibited and may result in termination.
6. Subscription Plans and Payments
6.1 Current Availability — Free Access
The Extension is currently provided free of charge. By using the Extension during this free period, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Free access does not constitute a permanent entitlement to free use
- We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or charges at any time
- If we introduce pricing for features that are currently free, we will provide at least 30 days' written notice to registered users via email before any charges take effect
- Continued use after the 30-day notice period constitutes acceptance of the applicable fees
6.2 Refunds and Cancellations
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
- Access continues until the end of the current billing period upon cancellation
- Refunds are generally not provided for partial billing periods but may be considered at our discretion
- No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated due to Terms violations
7. License Enforcement and Compliance
7.1 Automated License Validation
The Extension includes automated license validation that periodically verifies your license status, checks device count against your plan limits, and may require internet connectivity for full functionality.
7.2 License Blocking
We reserve the right to block or suspend your license if your subscription expires, you violate these Terms, you exceed device or usage limits, we detect unauthorised use or tampering, or your trial period expires.
8. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to violate laws, infringe third-party rights, share account credentials, exploit bugs or vulnerabilities, interfere with our servers, engage in fraudulent activity, circumvent license restrictions, use the Extension to develop competing products, or resell the Extension without authorisation.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
9.1 Our IP Rights
All intellectual property in the Extension, website, and Services belongs to A2Z, including software code, user interface design, documentation, trademarks, and trade secrets.
9.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you create using the Extension (e.g., Revit models, designs, outputs). However, you grant us a limited license to use anonymised, aggregated data derived from your usage for product improvement and analytics.
9.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Extension, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate such feedback without compensation or attribution.
10. Updates and Modifications
We may release updates or new versions, automatically update the Extension, modify or remove features, and discontinue support for older versions. You may be required to update to continue using the Extension.
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription, uninstalling the Extension from all devices, or contacting us to request account deletion.
11.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately without notice if you breach these Terms, your payment fails, we detect fraudulent or illegal activity, we discontinue the Services, or required by law.
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination your license immediately ends, you must uninstall the Extension from all devices, we may delete your account data subject to our Privacy Policy, and accrued fees remain due and payable.
12. Warranties and Disclaimers
THE EXTENSION AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
12.1 Third-Party Software
The Extension integrates with Autodesk Revit and may integrate with Microsoft Office applications. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Autodesk, Inc. or Microsoft Corporation. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid licences for all third-party software.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL A2Z BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, PROJECT DELAYS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR £100 GBP. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A2Z from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms or any law, or content you create or distribute using the Extension.
15. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Extension integrates with or relies on third-party services including Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office, and Supabase (our backend and database infrastructure). We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their terms. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
16. Beta Features and Testing
Beta features are provided "as is" with no warranties, may be unstable or discontinued at any time, and should not be used for production or critical work. Participation in beta programmes is at your own risk.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Before initiating legal action, you agree to first contact us to attempt informal resolution.
18. General Provisions
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and A2Z. We may modify these Terms at any time with notice for material changes. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent.
